US stock indices rose today, Wednesday, as signs of an effective Corona vaccine boosted hopes for a faster-than-expected economic recovery, with technology companies’ shares recovering after suffering losses.
At the beginning of trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.36% to 29,524.35 points, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 index increased by 0.50% to 3563.22 points.
While the Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.89% to 11,656.65 points.
