Real Madrid fell to a 2-2 draw against Club Brugge on Tuesday evening at the Santiago Bernabeu, in the second round of the group stage of the Champions League.
Sergio Ramos and Casemiro scored in the 56th and 86th minutes, while Club Brugge and Dennis scored in the 9th and 39th minutes.
With this draw, Club Brugge are temporarily up to two points in Group A, while Real Madrid are bottom of the table.
Hazard was aware that he will be questioned about his performances so far in the campaign and when the time came to respond he was self-critical but also confident about his quality.
The former Chelsea player didn’t use his injury as an excuse and accepted the criticism surrounding his performances.
“I feel good, it’s true that people expect a lot from me and so do I,” Hazard said.
“I know I can improve, I’m my hardest critic but we will improve by working every day.
“Maybe I’m a bit behind schedule because of the injury but I’m 100 percent ready now and I hope to do my best in the next games.
“I know that people expect a lot from me and I’m the one who has to prove my level.
