Republican former US President George W. Bush announced that he telephoned Democratic candidate Joe Biden today, and congratulated him on his victory in the presidential election.
Bush noted that Biden is “a good man who will unite the United States.”
He added that Americans can be confident that the US elections were “fair in fact, and their results are clear.”
He added that “President Donald Trump has the right to request votes be counted and to file judicial appeals.”
