US President Donald Trump has invited his team to cooperate in the transitional phase with US Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, pledging to “continue the fight.”
Trump wrote on Twitter: “We will fight, and I think we will win! However, for the sake of my country, I recommend that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to the initial protocols, and I have asked my team to do the same.”
He added, “I would like to thank Emily Murphy at the General Services Agency for her steadfast dedication and loyalty to our country … She was harassed, threatened and mistreated, and I don’t want to see this happen to her, her family, or the agency’s employees.”
