Novak: Gas market is breaking price records


Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the global gas market has now recovered almost completely, and is even setting record numbers in the field of prices.

Novak added, in an interview with RBC TV: “Today, the gas market has recovered almost completely, and even some price records have been set, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, and in Europe – about $ 220 per thousand cubic meters.”

And the Russian Deputy Prime Minister continued, “At the end of the year, we witnessed a significant increase in gas consumption, including in Turkey.”

Novak stated that the decrease in gas demand around the world, due to the Coronavirus epidemic in 2020, was estimated at 3%.
