Brent barrel above $ 71 for the first time since January 2020

 

The price of “Brent” crude, today, Monday, exceeded $ 71 a barrel, for the first time since January 8 last year.

May futures prices rose for North Sea oil from Brent by 2.32% to reach the level of $ 71.15 a barrel.

Also, the price of West Texas Intermediate crude in April futures rose 2.57% to $ 67.81 a barrel.

The price of Brent oil, on Sunday evening, surpassed the level of $ 70 per barrel for the first time since January 8 last year.
