Luka Modric and Real Madrid have reached a definitive agreement for the Croatian to continue at the club for another season.
His standard of performances shown throughout the season has once again been the main reason for the former Ballon d’Or winner to extend his stay at Madrid.
The desire of Real Madrid’s directors was clear and, as MARCA announced, it was only a matter of time. Both parties wanted to extend the deal and a single conversation was enough for Modric to complete what will be his eleventh season at the club.
As with his last renewal, the new deal will be for one season, with no increase or decrease in salary.
